Abby & Reggie | H Coffee House Engagement Session – Los Angeles, CA » LA Photography

I first met Abby and Reggie at Freedom Church and we became fast friends. It hard not to fall in love with Abby’s infectious laugh and their servant’s hearts. Before this engagement session, I also had the honor of participating in Reggie’s proposal. Abby had no idea this was happening… Reggie had chosen to do it at the end of one of their regular activities as a family – Universal Studios, so Abby wasn’t expecting anything! He had told her to dress a little nicer, which Abby did think was odd, but played it off that he wanted to go to dinner after. At about 6pm they are walking out of the park, and not more than 700 feet out of the exit, she saw some friends. But she still didn’t think anything of it because they also had passes. But then, another set of familiar faces came out, and another! One of them was carrying a box of donuts with an engagement ring inside. Before she could even take that in, Reggie was on one knee asking Abby’s son Sean, for permission to marry his Mom. After that, she of course said yes!

One thing you might take away from that story and the following photos is that Abby and Reggie love family, friends, fun, and food. They regularly try new restaurants and play games together on dates – so a “foodie” coffee house engagement session was the perfect combination of all the things they love!
