The Four Seasons was a breathtaking location for Amanda and Nico’s Santa Barbara wedding; it included a beautiful sandy beach with the sunset in the backdrop and luscious green grass in the garden area which made for amazing colors on camera. It is located in Santa Barbara, California between the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Ynez Mountains. The rooms are well decorated and spacious for a bride and her bridesmaids – allowing Amanda to be at ease, with joy that radiates through her photos.

Nico and Amanda had their ceremony at Santa Barbara Mission. A beautiful location both inside and out with a classic and intricate architecture that gives off an allure one simply can’t get enough of.  This venue only highlighted their love for each other… you can sense a heartfelt love before “I do’s” are said and even more once they became husband and wife. One of my favorite memories was them coming down the aisle after the kiss, Amanda’s veil billowing behind her as they just promised each other forever.

I was introduced to Amanda and Nico through mutual friends at The Church at Rocky Peak. It was clear to me the love they have for each other since their engagement session back in 2012, a year before they got married, you can look at the engagement photos here. Nico was shy at first being on camera, but the joy he felt being around Amanda couldn’t be hidden. They were best friends pledging to spend the rest of their lives together, so they really enjoyed the other’s company while realizing what was ahead for them both. They had many giggles both during the engagement session and throughout their wedding. Seeing all their planning and thoughtful details happen before my eyes was pure magic; Amanda’s “first look” with her Dad and immediately crying tears of joy, the look on Nico’s face as he watched his future wife coming up the aisle, Amanda and Nico walking into the stunning candlelit reception at the Four Seasons and seeing their vision come to life, their unique gold and silver rings, the birdcage cake… are just a few of the things that come to mind.
